The word confinement can conjure up many terrifying\u00a0images.\u00a0To be locked in a closet, a room, a prison cell are some nightmarish\u00a0thoughts.\u00a0Confinement speaks of loss of freedom, pleasure, engagement with friends and loved ones. Confinement is taking away our free will. In the case of the this pandemic we are being asked to willingly confine ourselves so that we do not run the risk of harming others as well as ourselves. We generally are a &#8220;me&#8221; society of late. There are radical changes going on in terms of &#8220;normal&#8217;. For our mental health we need to find tools and strategies to embrace the changes. If coping with these changes is proving to be overwhelming seek out help from a mental health professional.
