A marriage can die a slow death because we have forgotten why we originally loved that other person. Perhaps we have laid our goals and expectations on their behaviors. Our belief or fantasy of what our life was “supposed” to be somehow just has not worked out. Often it is easier to blame a spouse than to look in the mirror and claim some responsibility. Personal intentions work far better. Try to remember why you originally loved the person. Try each day to see two things that you still love. Stop looking for reasons to be mad and to fight.
